Who Operates the Site and Acceptance of the Terms
reportkix operates this website from the United Kingdom. By accessing or using the site, enrolling in any course, or submitting information through the contact form, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using the site immediately. These terms form a binding contract under UK law between you and reportkix.
Eligibility and Permitted Use
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts in the United Kingdom to use this site or purchase courses. Courses cover multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation, and professional management of television and streaming productions. You may use the site only for legitimate educational purposes related to these topics. Commercial use of course materials beyond personal study requires prior written consent from reportkix.
Prohibited Conduct
You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, upload harmful code, or share course content with third parties without permission. Harassment of other users, infringement of intellectual property, or any activity that disrupts live production training simulations is strictly forbidden. Violations may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.
Accounts, Submissions, and User Content
When you create an account to access course materials or submit details via the contact form, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Any content you submit, such as feedback or assignment uploads, must be your own work. reportkix may use anonymised submissions for improving courses but will not publish identifiable user content without consent.
Ownership of Site Content, Trademarks, and Permitted Limited Use
All course materials, videos, diagrams, and text on this site remain the property of reportkix or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to view materials for personal study only. No part of the content may be copied, distributed, or adapted without express permission. Trademarks belonging to reportkix may not be used in any way that suggests endorsement.
Third-Party Services and Links
The site may reference third-party tools used in live production training, such as broadcasting software or streaming platforms. These references do not constitute endorsement. reportkix is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any external services you access independently.
Availability, Changes, Suspension, and Termination
reportkix aims to keep the site available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, update course content, or modify features at any time. You may cancel enrolment subject to the refund policy stated at purchase.
Disclaimers Subject to Mandatory Consumer Law
While every effort is made to ensure course accuracy, reportkix provides training on an as-is basis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other rights that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Limitation of Liability
Subject to the above, reportkix total liability for any claim arising from use of the site or courses shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant course. This limit applies to direct losses only and does not cover indirect or consequential damages where permitted by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify reportkix against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of course materials, except to the extent caused by reportkix own negligence.
Governing Law, Courts, and Consumer Dispute Rights
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, in which case local courts may apply. You retain rights to complain to the relevant ombudsman or use alternative dispute resolution under UK consumer protection rules.
Severability, Waiver, Changes, Contact Route, and Last-Updated Date
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remainder continues in force. Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. reportkix may update these terms; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance. Contact reportkix via the form on the Contacts page or by emailing [email protected]. These terms were last updated on 5 October 2026.
Additional Provisions on Data Protection
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, reportkix processes personal data only as necessary for course delivery and site operation. You have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your data. Cookies are used in line with PECR; details appear in the site-wide cookie banner. Enquiries about data should be sent to [email protected].
Payment and Refund Terms
Course fees are payable in advance. Refunds are available within 14 days if you have not accessed substantial course content, in accordance with UK consumer law. No refunds apply after that period except in exceptional circumstances at reportkix discretion.
Intellectual Property in Student Work
Any original projects you create during courses remain your property, but you grant reportkix a licence to use anonymised examples for training improvement. You must not infringe third-party rights when producing assignments.
Health and Safety in Practical Training
Where courses involve simulated control-room environments, you must follow all safety instructions provided. reportkix is not liable for injuries resulting from failure to comply with guidance.
